SEN. IBOKESSIEN LAUDS AKPABIO-ENO COLLABORATION, COMMENDS ISDMA FOR ANNIVERSARY SUMMIT
Senator Emmanuel Ibokessien, Founder of the renowned Ritman University, has lauded the fruitful collaboration between Senate President Godswill Akpabio and Governor Umo Eno, describing their partnership as a major driver of development across Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District.
The Political heavyweight stated this in Ikot Ekpene while receiving a delegation from the Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District Media Advocates, ISDMA, ahead of the forthcoming Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District Leadership Anniversary Summit.
Senator Ibokessien, who will chair the summit, thanked ISDMA for the honour, describing the initiative to celebrate outstanding leaders of Akwa Ibom as timely and commendable.
He also commended ISDMA for organising the summit, saying it would strengthen unity among stakeholders while showcasing the contributions of leaders to the development of the state.
The founder of Ritman University further praised the cordial working relationship between Senate President Godswill Akpabio and Governor Umo Eno, noting that their collaboration has continued to attract meaningful development projects and improve the welfare of the people across Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District.
On his part, the Vice Chancellor of Ritman University, Professor Akan Williams, expressed delight over the initiative and assured the delegation of the university’s full support towards the success of the summit.
The ISDMA delegation, comprising members of the association’s Executive Council and the Leadership Summit Central Planning Committee, was led by the group’s President, Mr. Emma Akpabio.
