The Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District Media Advocates (ISDMA) is a non-partisan association of media and communication professionals committed to promoting responsible journalism, strategic public communication, and positive developmental narratives within Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District and Akwa Ibom State.

Founded in 2022 on the principles of professionalism, integrity, and service, ISDMA brings together journalists, media practitioners, public relations professionals, broadcasters, digital media experts, and communication strategists who share a common vision of leveraging the media as a catalyst for sustainable development, good governance, peace, and social cohesion.

The association serves as a platform for collaboration among media professionals, fostering capacity building, ethical journalism, policy engagement, and constructive public discourse. Through seminars, conferences, public lectures, leadership summits, media awards, advocacy campaigns, and community development initiatives, ISDMA continues to celebrate excellence while encouraging accountability and people-oriented leadership.

ISDMA is also dedicated to recognizing outstanding individuals, institutions, and organizations whose contributions have positively impacted governance, infrastructure, education, healthcare, entrepreneurship, youth empowerment, security, and community development across Akwa Ibom State and beyond.
